Mr. Vachnis is a seasoned and versatile R&D leader with over 17 years of experience in the design, development and delivery of software and hardware products. He has vast experience in early-stage start-ups, building full-stack SW, mobile, web, DevOps and cloud infrastructures. Mr. Vachnis excels at translating evolving design, prototypes and MVPs into full-fledged product launches. His expertise and passion are focused on cloud solutions, highly available distributed systems, big data, AI/ML and algorithms.
Before joining IR-Med, Mr. Vachnis served as VP R&D at OUTLOCKS where he led the company’s transition into a leading provider of access management solutions. Previously, Avi led the R&D at Lumos-Global,. Prior to Lumos-Global, Avi was a founder of CloudBand at Alcatel-Lucent.
Avi has a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Ort Braude College of Engineering, Israel.
